One year ago today a beautiful shy scared baby was placed in my arms. Bob & I cried tears of joy. Our family was now complete. The long wait was over, we finally had Olivia. I can't believe it has been a year, it has gone by so fast. Olivia is a true joy and is such a happy baby.
I have been asked when I am going to have her go to a Mom's Day Out one or two days a week. The answer is "I just don't want to leave her and be apart from her". When Megan was her age she went to one, I needed that break. Here I am 11 years later you would think this old brod would want/need a break.... but I don't want to be away from Olivia. I know that it would be good for Olivia so I will have her in a program in the fall. I am sure Olivia will do fine, I'm just worried about me. Haha!
I will forever carry a special place in my heart for China. We went half way around the world to get our daughter. A trip of a life-time. WONDERFUL!
Happy Gotcha Day Olivia!
Love, Mommy

Playing At Bounce U
Olivia & I met another mom and her daughter for an hour of fun. It is called Bounce U. It is a new place in Tulsa (not far from our house) that kids can bounce, slide and play. Olivia was a little leary at first but once she found the smaller toys she warmed up.
P.S. Olivia woke up this morning with her hair sticking up. I tried to fix it, but nothing would help.

Chinnese New Year!
Tonight we went to the FCC (Families With Children from China) Chinnese New Year Celebration. It was held at a Chinnese restaurant here in Tulsa. Olivia was pretty shy, not sure why.
2008 is the year of the "Rat". Olivia was born the year of the Dog, sounds much better then the year of the Rat. Guess I need to look and see what my year was.
P.S. Megan wasn't with us. She was at a Girl Scout camp-out. So she missed the celebration.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
We had a quiet Valentine's Day around here. This is the house of the stomach flu. Last Wednesday Megan was the first to get sick. Olivia was next on Friday night. I waited till Tuesday morning. Either I am a baby or I had it worse then everyone else. Bob stayed home and took care of Olivia while I layed in bed and moaned. I was in bed for 2 days. Bob went back to work on Thursday, when he came home from work around 3:00 he didn't feel good, he now had it. It is now late Friday morning and Bob seems to feel better. Gosh, I wish I could bounce back that quick. Lets just hope everyone is now healhy. Colette Thank you Aunt Juju for my Dora movie.... I love it!
