Welcome

Welcome to my blog. This is a journal of things in my life during the adoption process. If you want to start at the beginning you need to read backwards. What this means is go to the archives (January 2006) and read through to current time. I enjoy reading your comments, so please post your thoughts for me to read. Colette

Christmas Train

Brrrrrrrr..... We went to the DryGulch Christmas Train out-side Tulsa. We bought the tickets a month ago and they are non-refundable. So, we bundled up and went. My friend Debbie and Alex went along with us too. We went on a horse drawn wagon, looked at the pretty shops and road the train. Too bad it was so cold, I think with the wind chill it was 0 degrees.

Olivia's School Program

Olivia's school program had 2-5 year olds. It was so cute! The 2 year olds pretty much just stood there... but it was cute anyway!
They made their t-shirts in class. If you look close you will see it is made up of their handprints and footprints.

Olivia Meets Santa

We took Olivia to see Santa. We went to an outdoor mall. It was all decorated with lots of Christmas decorations. Olivia actully sat on Santa's lap (all by herself). This was huge! Last year, she wouldn't even go in his little house. She started crying and giving me the death grip (so I didn't push it).

Well, this year she sat on his lap and told him what she wants (toys) and just sat there and stared at him. I finally said tell Santa "bye". We have a picture, but I don't have a scanner, so I cant post it. SORRY.

Happy 13th Birthday Megan

Megan turned 13! My goodness, where have the years gone?!? We officially have a teenager in the house.... will we survive??? Check back in a few years and I will let you know! Olivia putting up streamers for MayMay's party!
Both my girls, pretty in blue!
Megan had 7 girl's over to celebrate her birthday. That made it a total of 8 screaming girls in our house. It was so loud, that Olivia, Sammi (the dog) and I hung out in the garage with Bob for 2 hours. The girls had the music on dancing and screaming.... YIKES! Guess I forgot what it is like to be young.
Megan and her cake. It was an ice cream cake.... yummy!
Well, we survived another slumber birthday party... till next year!
